Welcome to the website of the Evaluation & Testing Department at the University of Oklahoma.

E & T has offered assessment information to educators for over sixty years. During that time several issues have become guiding principals for our staff.

E & T works with the major assessment or publishing companies to bring you reliable, accurate assessments. Our current products lines are:

  • Northwest Evaluation Association, MAP Assessment. A computer adaptive assessment tied directly to Oklahoma objectives.
  • Riverside Publishing, Iowa Test of Basic Skills/Iowa Test of Educational Development. A nationally recognized norm reference test, widely used by districts and states to assess grade level skills.
  • Riverside Publishing, Cognitive Abilities Test. An ability assessment used to determine gifted students or to give information about special program referrals.
  • Harcourt Assessment, Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test. A hand scored ability assessment particularly suited to students with limited language skills. Materials only available.
  • Riverside Publishing Company, Gates-MacGinitie Reading Test. Specialized assessment to give data on students reading capabilities. Hand scored tests available to districts who need extra reading information. Materials only available.
  •  Riverside Publishing Company, Nelson-Denny Reading Test. A hand scorable assessment appropriate for high school students needing extra reading assessments. Materials only available.
